Comic Books

I love comics. So much possibility, yet there is too much crap. But, there is some good stuff, a little of it is listed below. Batman, Spawn, Sandman, and The Maxx are my favorite series. They have the most consistent turnout of great stories and great art. There have also been a few choice mini-series and one shots, such as Kingdom Come, The Crow, both Death minis, Return of the Dark Night, and Batman: Year One, to name a few. And, we must not forget the movies that have been made. Granted, most tend to, well, suck, but, a few have been quite good (the first two Batman movies and The Crow being good examples). If you have never picked up a comic book or haven't read one in a while, I highly recommend any of these titles to everyone, trust me, you'll love them.

	Batman A gun shot breaks through the night. The Waynes are dead. Bruce is an orphan now. Poor Bruce, now without parents. But Alfred raises him now. And then he finds a cave. And in the cave, he finds his future. He becomes a creature of the night. And as such, he seeks out and stops evil. He is the Batman.
	Warner Bros. Batman site -filled with all kinds of good Batman stuff. Batman Hype! -If there's Batman news to be heard, you'll find it here. The 1966 Batman TV Tribute Site -all about the classic Batman TV show we all know and love. Come on, shark repellent spray? That's classic.

Spawn Killed on a mission by his friend. Sent to hell for all of the blood on his hands. And brought back to see his wife, Wanda, who he loves, so very much. Brought back at a price though. He is a Hellspawn, fated to be a captain in hell's army at armageddon. His time on earth limited, and he is constantly fighting hell's demons as he tries to do what is right with his "second chance." The Maxx I'd explain it, but you would never believe me. It's just too crazy. It's good stuff though, worth more than just a read. Or, go buy the video. Either way, you still may have no idea what's going on. I've been with it since issue #1, and it still boggles my mind if I think about it too much. The Maxx Home Page
