Say cheese!

Glimpses of my world

(click thumbnail or link for larger pic)

A picture of me. Vince took this while we were at the 24 hour study during finals week at The Newman Center.

Father Steve without the collar. Got this at like 7 in the morning at the 24 hour study at Newman, he was just coming in in the morning.

A pond/stream at school. I really, really like how this picture looks. I impressed myself with it.

Mom being crafty. Here, she is decorating the half tree we have downstairs at home. She is too cute sometimes.

The student Center at school at night. I didn't mean for it to get blurry like this. I had put on the extended setting because it was night and tremors from MS were being themselves, but this picture actually ended up looking pretty good.

My cat and my sister's cat wrestling. They've done this for as long as I can remember, I was lucky to have my camera handy when they decided to do it this time.

The squirrels, they are everywhere here! And every now and then you can manage to get a nifty picture like this one.

This really is a lovely picture. It's of a view of part of one of the rention ponds on campus, but this picture really is beautiful. I have been told it would look better if the date wasn't in the corner though, I have to agree with that one.

Me in my Halloween costume. And it wasn't until about half way through the night that I realized that technically I was cross dressing.

My glorious name tag collection. I've got tags from old job, from church retreats, from all sorts of stuff.

B_T actually took this picture. It's from when he, I and a couple of friends went to the Field Museum, is where the next pic is from too..

Sue, the T-Rex at the Field Museuem. I love dinosaurs. Until about eigth grade, I had wanted to be a paleontologist and go dig up dinosaur bones, I love them that much.

The Chicago skyline with clouds woven around it. I had to get this pic when I saw this from the Planetarium, it's just a wonderful sight.

A ducky family. I had to get this picture, the baby ducks are just too cute.

Me making a snow angel. Jen and I were having fun making snow angels by the lagoon after it snowed.

My snow angel outside of the Newman Center. Where better to put a snow angel than outside of a church?

Jen feeding the swans. We often fed the swans and ducks on campus by the lagoon my first semester at school.

Heidi, Justin, and Jen having fun at Wal-Mart.

Sara holding Gustav in her hands. We were playing Cranium and she was having fun with the clay. Game nights are fun for all!

Grandpa playing the ukelele for Peter. I had to take a picture of this, it is just too cute of a picture.

My cousin Peter, mowing the lawn. Actually it's an old lawnmower body that my grandpa took the motor off of, but he likes to push it around like he is mowing.

My cat and my nephew. He loves my cat and has told me that he wants to take her home. He even started emptying his diaper bag once so there would be room to take Remick home. Natalie (Tony's mom) asked what he was doing, I told her, and she laughed. Tony is just too cute. :o)

My nephew Tony, being the cute little guy he is. I wonder what he found in there.....

Me, just chilling as I was riding on the bus. This was in the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday, June 4, 2002. I was interviewed and the wrote a story about the stem cell transplant that I had in January 2001.

Me and my cute little kitty, as we both take a nap. Are we not just the CUTEST things that you have ever seen? ;o)

This is a picture of Jen and I at FAO Schwarz downtown. This isn't the best picture, but between the bending down to the camera set at the height for a small child and trying to keep a straight face while doing it, here is the picture.

Gina took me to Medieval Times for my 23rd birthday. We had a great time there, and don't I look ever-so-charming in this picture?

Me with Vader, taking another lesson, when I visited the Star Wars exhibit at the Field Museum.

Me with Yoda, as he tells me of the evil of the dark side and gets me to join the rebellion.

Here's me at Chirstmas, 2000.

me :o)

Remick and I, sitting on a chair, just chilling out.

me :o)

It's me, again. :o) Over here.

Here I am, in the hospital, with my cousin Peter, isn't he just a cute little guy? And don't I look stunning, in my chemo-induced baldness and hospital gown?

Here I am. You've got to love me... or not. This is from.. ah... I don't remember, after losing a lot of weight. It's amazing what happened when I stopped living at Taco Bell, that was a dark time in my life :o).

me and natalie

Over here, is a picture of me and my sister Natalie. It was taken at the Koinonia weekend retreat we went on with the Newman Center at WIU. A good time was had by all.

mr. me

This is a characature of me that was drawn at my Party '95. It's pretty cool, I guess. I think that it makes me look a little too much like Mr. Spock myself.

Black haired Justin

Black hair was not supposed to be permanent, but it never did wash out. I kinda liked it though.

little person

What we have over here, is a picture of me when I was all of four years old. I don't really know why I feel the urge to show this particular picture with the world... but here you go...

Robin, Nathan, and I, making a snowman. Gosh, aren't we just adorable?

Little me, again, as I laugh at something, damned if I know what, while laying amongst some laundry or blankets or something.

Little me, hanging out at the Memphis zoo, learning to become the animal that I am now. ;o).

My 4th birthday day party, having too much fun (yes, my bd is right after halloween). And notice me sitting in my little evil looking costume, that hints at how evil I will become.

Robin and I, as I assert the hierarchy of siblings and let her get used to being the little sister.

Nathan and I, taking our first lesson in mastering the powers of the dark side from Lord Vader.

Me at a few years, with my brother Nathan. Weren't I the loving one?

Me again, as a little one. The smile in the picture is only a hint at my impending deviousness.

And here's little me, sitting in the toybox that grandpa had just made for me. Do I not fit into it so well?

Me and grampa at the beach in southern Texas, I was about four or so. Don't we have a marvelous castle, perfectly fit for royalty?

Me at 15 months. I don't know what happened to me after that... ;o)

Mom, dad, and I, when I was but a few weeks old. If only they could have foretold my devilishness.

Mom and I.. She should've have known that her being born on Halloween would make me be born a tad devilish.

Grandma holding little baby me. Aren't we cute? :o)

Grandpa and I, a little while after I was born. If only he knew what a little devil I would become. ;o)

Little baby Justin, at all of three or four days old. Wasn't I just the cutest little guy?

This, is my Mom and Step-dad.

Gramma drinkin' coffee

This is a picture of my gramma, my mom's mom. She was the sweetest lady you could want to meet. She is gone now, and missed by all.

little people

Here is a picture of my gradparents when they were wee children. The funny part is that they didn't know of each other when these pictures were taken.. kinda freaky isn't it?

Dad's mom's dad's parents

This picture is of my great-great-great-great grandparents (my dad's mom's dad's dad's father and mother)... Peter Peterson and his wife Anna.

frightening pumpkin spirit guy

I did this a few years ago, not sure when exactly. I took the picture because this is just too funny. Yeah, I know, I'm a silly boy.

close-up of a cutie :o)

Here's Remick. She is the mouth with feet, the tank, chunky brewster, chunky chicky, chunky love, punk,... :o)
